Modefænomenet ’Fast Fashion’ handler om hurtigt skiftende kollektioner og trends, lave priser og masseproduktion. Det går ud over materialer, produktion og ofte også afprøvning og tilpasning. Derfor oplever 90 procent af alle kvinder, at tøjet ikke sidder godt. Vibe Juul Thomsen har med Jan Machenhauer designet en kollektion af hverdagstøj i naturlige materialer, hvor klæderne kan tilpasses den enkelte kvindes krop og dermed får en længere levetid.

The phenomenon of ‘fast fashion’ is about rapidly changing collections and trends, low prices and mass production – at the cost of material quality, production conditions and, in many cases, the ability to try on the clothes and have them fitted. As a result, 90 per cent of all women find that their clothes do not fit them properly. In collaboration with Jan Machenhauer, Vibe Juul Thomsen has designed a collection of everyday apparel in natural materials that can be fitted to the individual wearer’s body and thus get a longer lifespan.
