A tool that empowers people and planet – that is the power of design

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN IN THE ALPS
Matteo Zaghi has designed a new flexible light-weight line of furniture for Italian Alpine Club's alpine huts, which better utilises the space in the huts and takes the varying number of residents in the huts into account. The furniture accommodates the users' need for shelter and eases the work for management. The line is constructed exclusively of wood paying attention to the fragile natural environment of the areas; the furniture can be assembled without any use of tools.

INDUSTRIELT DESIGN I ALPERNE
