Text

Color hunting is a systematic pursuit of colours, textures and sense impressions; this approach has been central for the textile designer Sisse Falster’s development of a collection of carpet tiles in collaboration with Egetæpper. "The colour palette for the design of the concept is from the old part and the souk of Marrakech where you are bombarded with sense impressions and where the colours of the spices are reflected in the hand-woven carpets", explains Sisse Falster.

Through examinations of the expression of the colours on different surfaces the KECH collection has been developed in such a way that different colours and carpet structures either function independently or can be combined with each other.
