Text

Marco Berends has developed a new type of bicycle route for tourists on the island of Møn. It takes into account that the destination may change during a bicycle trip, where you are not just going from A to B but want to explore the area on bicycle. Møn is well known for its Møns Klint, a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs on the eastern coast of the island, which is visited by 250,000 tourists every year. 'Mybikemap' is an online map which allows for personal interests and the desired activity.

It is first and foremost a route planner that displays local initiatives for the tourists. The communication designer says about the project: “My goal is to design the very best user navigation tool. The project combines navigation with my passion for cycling.
