Waste matters – textile upcycling to shift perception on the obsolete

House Venture is a research institute for social innovation. The institute has set up a rehabilitation programme for persons who are outside the labour market. The participants process and upcycle the textile waste of the local community with the view to increase the financial independence of the institute by selling products. In her master’s project Zoé Nehlig examines a circular system where waste material enters into a viable and engaging production process.
