The feminine form of geometry is geometria

Squares and circles have inspired Nanna Fjord, who has designed a winter collection including hats.

Geometria is the name of Nanna Fjord’s collection for women, which she presented at her final exam in May. And that is not surprising. The 26-year-old candidate is inspired by geometry in art and design, and in her coats, dresses, blouses and slacks – eight silhouettes in all – she plays with circles and squares in relation to the body.

One of Nanna Fjord’s collaborators is Kopenhagen Fur, and one of the company’s furriers has made the long winter coat in seal, mink and wool. In addition to the garments, primarily made of wool and silk, the collection consists of four hats, designed by Nanna Fjord, but fashioned by hatter, Mathilde Førster.
