New face on the board

Design School Kolding has a new Board

For the first time since the local and regional council election in November, Design School Kolding’s Board of Representatives gathered on 14 March with the important agenda of electing a new Board. 

However, before the election began, the five members appointed by the respective organisations were introduced. 

New appointed members

  • by Design Danmark: Carsten Nguyen Henriksen, Creative & Managing Director, Designit
  • by the Confederation of Danish Industry: Lise Thomsen, DI Kreative Erhverv
  • by the IT Industry: Sara Marie Alvad, Creative Director Knowit Experience 
  • by the Danish Producers' Association: Ida Hartman, Lead Writer & Narrative Designer, Triple Topping
  • by the Danish Chamber of Commerce: Jakob Møller Hansen, Head of Development, Ecco

The Board of Representatives comprises 19 members who are appointed for four years by a number of professional organisations.

Meet all the members

Michael Qvortrup, Manager at Danfoss A/S, was elected new member on Design School Kolding’s Board of Directors.

Additional Board members are: 

  • Rune Kirt, CEO, KIRT x THOMSEN
  • Merete Due Paarup, City Council Member, Kolding Municipality (Vice Chairman)
  • Hans Christian Asmussen, Owner, NATiON.dk
  • Karsten Uno Petersen, Member of the Regional Council, Region Syddanmark

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Morten Albæk, CEO, Voluntas, is appointed directly by the Board.
