Wearing your heart on your sleeve

Three Design School Kolding students impress with their BA project about textile patterns based on emotions.

"Clothes make the man" is a familiar phrase. Now three students have turned the phrase into an actual clothing brand that allows your personal history to become part of the unique patterns.

Behind the project are Bjørn Karmann, Interaction Design student, Kristine Boesen, Textile Design student and Julie Helles Eriksen, Fashion Design student. Together they have created the website 'Abstract' where you create your own story using words, facial expressions and a webcam. An algorithm translates your data into patterns, which you can then transfer on to selected clothing items available in the webshop.

'Abstract' is invited to participate at the Paris Digital Week, which takes place end October 2015.
