UNIK - Partnership for welfare solutions for patients with a chronic illness

Together with the Lab for Social Inclusion UNIK has identified the expectations and barriers of health personnel with regards to applying and implementing welfare technology. We have looked at the kind of everyday that the technology needs to tap into, how the users perceive the technology and how it affects their daily lives.

Lab for Social Inclusion conducted the investigation together with UNIK, a national partnership which aims to create better public welfare solutions for patients with chronic illnesses.

Objective
The objective of the investigation was to identify the expectations and barriers of health personnel with regards to applying and implementing welfare technology. In addition the investigation zoomed in on the perceptions and expectations of users.

Results

The result is a series of recommendations which have been comprised in the publication Superbrugerne (Super Users).

There are three main themes:

  • How do you create good welfare technology at home?
  • How does technology become part of the everyday routines of a health team?
  • How do you turn welfare technology into business?
