At Design School Kolding’s weaving workshop, textile students work in an experimental way to construct woven textiles for the products of the future.

The workshop is supervised by a workshop manager with a design background who can provide support and spar with students on their projects at a high professional level. The weaving workshop has a large inventory of yarns sourced from manufacturers around the world, giving students an excellent basis for examining and testing various types of materials.

The weaving workshop also offers equipment that allows students to make their own yarns.

The weaving workshop has a large number of looms at its disposal, from the classic analogue loom to the computer-controlled ARM loom, as well as a TC-1 Jacquard loom. A laser cutter is also available.
