Ph.d.-seminar
Research through Design is a growing field of study with increasing use in design. It joins a large existing body of knowledge on research design generally. This seminar will seek to create a dialogue between existing general approaches to research design and the research method of RtD itself. This will put in context the work presented by the seminar participants. In the light of the points raised by the initial keynote discussions, particating PhDs' work will be analysed and critiqued. Participants will be able to adjust or add to their projects through a better understanding of both RtD and general research design methods. The anticipated result of the day is that participants can argue effectively for their chosen research approach and strengthen the validity of their argument.
Participants will need to have a one-page position paper on their work with a reflection or question arising from that about the research design. This will be shared beforehand. Please email the position paper to Academic Officer Christina Stind Rosendahl, csr@dskd.dk, no later than the 23 May 2016.
