Leg kan have en positiv indflydelse på mange, hvis ikke alle designprocesser og deres slutresultater. Det er antagelsen og drivkraften for dette års DesignCamp2018 på Designskolen Kolding, som viser, hvordan åbne og legende metoder kan fungere som katalysator for ideudvikling og strategisk design.

Formålet med Campen er at give en vitaminindsprøjtning i form af opfindsomhed og nye måder at angribe udfordringer på, som kan resultere i bedre produkter og services for virksomheder og kunder.

Åben konference
DesignCamp2018 bliver afsluttet med et brag af en konference med internationale oplægsholdere og udstilling af de studerendes legende og inspirerende løsninger. Konferencen foregår fredag den 2. februar og er åben for alle. Tilmelding via link senest den 29. januar.

Play is a strangely, compelling and natural human phenomenon which we are all linked to by instinct. It is though play that we acquire our life skills, and being in play situations creates opportunities for exploring possibilities of life. In her keynote, Helle Marie Skovbjerg will present the mood perspective as a way to understand play with the aim of acknowledging the value of play.

Krystina Castella, Professor ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena
As an industrial design practitioner and educator Krystina Castella uses play as a catalyst for the design process. She will discuss the benefits of play for enhancing collaboration, expanding our imagination and getting in touch with a designer’s unique point-of-view for a project. She will share a few of the methods she uses, student corporate collaborations, and her insights on the future of play.
