New generation of designers turn complex challenges into tangible possibilities

When Kolding School of Design opens the doors to this year’s graduation exhibition from 27 June to 2 July, visitors will also gain an insight into the ideas, perspectives and skills that the school’s latest graduates will bring with them into the world.

Throughout their studies, the graduating designers have explored subjects ranging from materials, technology and sustainability to wellbeing, communities and new ways of living and working. The resulting projects demonstrate not only what design can be, but also the role it can play in responding to a world shaped by change.

In 2026, Kolding School of Design celebrates ten years of Play Design as an academic and research field. The anniversary was marked this spring with a celebration in Kolding, bringing together speakers and guests from around the world. Meet some of them in this video.
