Barnabas Wetton completed his degree in Fine Arts in Cheltenham, England. Further to this he trained as an eenglish teacher at International House in London.

He has worked on developmental projects in Peru and has been involved in the establishing of six new schools in Tigray Province, Ethiopia. Further to this he has reported on Danish affairs for the BBC World Service nd written a number of pieces for the Guardian and The Observer Foreign News Service. This combination of practical, results based work combined with æsthetic and communicative aspects underpins all his work at Designskolen Kolding.

Aside from his work at the school Barnabas works actively as an artist. Most recently he exhibited at Trapholt Museum with the architect Chris Thurlbourne in an exhibition entitled Trace. He is currently involved in a music/art project with the musician Yossi Karutchi.
