Projektet undersøger, hvordan tekstiler sammen med arkitektoniske rammer kan forstærke den musikalske oplevelse af en koncert. Designeren kobler vævning og musik af den aarhusianske trio, Hvalfugl, der bygger bro mellem nordisk folkemusik og jazzens klang. Designeren fortolker Hvalfugls musik i vævningens farver og materialer med hjælp fra brugerundersøgelser. Brugerne har lyttet til Hvalfugls musik og udvalgt farver fra Margrethe Odgaards bog "Shades of Light” om det nordiske lys’ særlige farve-spektrum.

"With a focus on the interplay of colors, materials, and light, I am fascinated by the potential of textiles in architectural relationships."
The project explores how textiles, in conjunction with architectural frameworks, can enhance the musical experience of a concert. The designer combines weaving and music by the Aarhus-based trio, Hvalfugl, building a bridge between Nordic folk music and the musical expression of jazz. With the help of user studies, the designer interprets Hvalfugl's music and incorporates it into the colours and the materials of the weaving. The users have listened to Hvalfugl's music and selected colours from Margrethe Odgaard's book "Shades of Light" the topic of which is the unique colour spectrum of Nordic light.
