Danske børn i alderen 13-19 har Europa-rekorden i skærmtid ifølge WHO. Som et alternativt bud på et udendørs undervisningsmiljø tilbyder designeren værktøjer til at opføre skoleskovhaver. Skolehaven formidler fremtidens bæredygtige fødevaresystemer og kan være et eksperimentarium for klimatilpasning. Projektet består af fysisk materiale og et online-rum med undervisningsmateriale. Horsens Kommune har sponsoreret forsøg med projektet på to skoler og alle Horsens’ 18 skoler opfordres til at følge trop.

Danish children aged 3-19 hold the European record for screen time according to the WHO. By encouraging schools to build forest gardens the designer offers an alternative teaching environment. Here children can develop a sense of sustainable food culture and experiment with green transformation, while learning to be outdoors in an edible milieu. The project consists of physical material and an online space with teaching resources. Horsens Municipality has funded two experimental school gardens and will encourage all 18 schools in Horsens to follow suit.
