’De u-identiske tvillinger’ udfordrer begrebet den digitale tvilling på, hvorvidt den digitale version bør være en 1:1 oversættelse af det fysiske produkt. Hertil om den digitale version kan sættes i spil på en alternativ måde end blot som visualisering og prototyping og blive et nyt medie, hvorigennem moden kan komme til udtryk. Projektet undersøger, hvordan man aktivt kan bruge det digitale værktøj Clo3D i den kreative proces, og hvordan fejlkoder kan inspirere til formgivning.

"I hope to contribute to an innovative fashion industry that explores how new technology and knowledge can drive development in a new and sustainable direction."

The project, 'The Non-identical Twins', challenges the concept of the digital twin in terms of whether the digital version should be a 1:1 translation of the physical product. In addition, the project explores whether the digital version could be put into play in an alternative fashion rather than simply as a visualization and a prototyping; hence it would be transformed into a new medium through which fashion can be communicated. The project investigates how to actively use the digital tool Clo3D in the creative process, and also how error codes can inspire design.
