arPLAYtecture cards er et samtaleværktøj designet til at skærpe arkitekturstuderendes og unge arkitekters opmærksomhed omkring vigtigheden af at have fokus på brugeren igennem hele den kreative proces. Redskabet fremmer et empatisk mindset og kan anvendes i traditionelle designstudios til løsning af opgaver, workshops og design-sprint; af undervisere og studerende, individuelt og i grupper. En skjult tekst bag på kortene introducerer udfordringen, som kun er synlig, hvis man har arkitektens briller på. Det minder spilleren om, at det er nødvendigt at se forbi det umiddelbart synlige for at forstå brugeren og finde og løse opgaven.

arPLAYtecture cards is a conversation toolkit designed to make architecture students and young architects aware of the need to stay user-centred throughout the creative process. The toolkit enables an empathic mindset and can be used in traditional design studio assignments, workshops, or design sprints; by teachers and students, individually or in groups. A hidden text on the back of the cards introduces a challenge, which is only unveiled if your wear the architect’s glasses. This reminds the player that it is necessary to look beyond the visible to know the project’s user better and to find and solve the real problem.
