Words can paint pictures for the inner eye. But can a typography designed for the senses change the meaning of the word? Everything we read is in fonts. And what we read is influenced by the shapes of the typography. An academic text written in the font Comic Sans reads differently than the same text in Times New Roman because the typography affects the message. This project examines how the reading experience is affected when words with a sensuous meaning also take on a sensuous form.
