Designeren har gennem spekulativt design udforsket en fremtid, hvor tatoveringer ud over et fashion-statement også er funktionelle og kan bidrage til en forståelse af at menneske og natur ikke kan adskilles. Med vores nuværende menneskeskabte udfordringer som forurening af jorden, kan tatoveringsblæk fungere som et middel til bæredygtig udvikling ved at afhjælpe nedbrydning af kroppen og give næring til mulden.

Imagine a future where technology becomes part of the human body. Through speculative design, the designer has explored a future where tattoos, in addition to being fashion statements, are also functional and can strengthen the awareness that man and nature cannot be separated. Tattoos are suggested as a means of sustainable development in view of current man-made challenges such as soil pollution using tattoo inks, which help to break down the body after life and nourish the earth.
