Afgangsprojekt by Annesofie Bundell

I dette projekt forfølger designeren drømmen om det symbiocæne samfund, hvor menneske og natur lever i harmoni, og naturens ressourcer behandles med respekt og empati. Her udforskes svampesubstansen mycelium som et bud på et levende, regenerativt materiale, der kan indtænkes i en cirkulær økonomi.

Materialeforståelse er essentiel, når de rette beslutninger skal træffes i fremtidens design. Derfor har designeren udviklet workshops, hvor viden om mycelium og andre levende ressourcer deles med andre designere, så materialerne kan blive en byggesten i en mere bæredygtig fremtid.  

In this project, the designer pursues the dream of the symbiocene society, where man and nature live in harmony, and nature's resources are treated with respect and empathy. She explores the fungal substance mycelium as a proposal for a living, regenerative material that can be incorporated into a circular economy.

When designing the future, an appreciation of materials is essential for making the right decisions. Therefore, the designer has developed workshops where knowledge about mycelium and other living resources is shared with other designers, so that the materials can become a building block in a more sustainable future.
