Afgangsprojekt by Aydan Galabova

Designeren har samarbejdet med Skanderborg Kommune om at transformere en gammel bygning til et moderne forsamlingshus, der matcher borgernes behov, og hvor rammerne støtter op om socialt fællesskab, kulturmøder og engagement i lokalsamfundet.

Hun har særligt fokuseret på at designe udendørsarealerne, så de besøgende får indtrykket af en rar og indbydende velkomst. Her guides og orienteres de besøgende mod bygningen, hvor der er etableret fællesområder ved indgangen, som inviterer til fællesskab og socialisering. Hermed forenes teorier om social interaktion med indretningsdesign.

In her project the designer has collaborated with Skanderborg Municipality to transform an old structure into a modern community centre that matches the needs of the residents, and where the framework promotes social collaboration, cultural encounters as well as engagement in the local community.

Her particular focus has been on designing outdoor areas where visitors are welcomed in a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Visitors are guided and oriented towards the entrance of the building, where common areas invite guests to engage and socialize with the community. This concept thus blends the theories of social interaction with interior design.
