Self-supporting textiles
Anna Bruun Kristiansen weaves self-supporting architectural components intended to form a spatial setting for talks, concerts and exhibitions in the former church hall at Vitskøl Monastery. The colours and transparency of the layers of the textiles interact with the space, light and people in the church hall and is also a study of ways of making self-supporting textiles in a manual process that can be translated into an industrial production method.
