Meet Margrethe Vestager

Join us as Margrethe Vestager visits Design School Kolding, Thursday 4 November from 18-20.

Margrethe Vestager is currently serving as Executive Vice President of the European Commission for A Europe Fit for the Digital Age and as European Commissioner for Competition.

In conversation with students and Rector of Design School Kolding Lene Tanggaard, Margrethe Vestager will talk about digitalisation and design from a human and sustainability perspective.

Margrethe Vestager’s work as EU Commissioner has created a great deal of attention due to the billion Euro fines issued by the commission to companies like Google and Amazon. Moreover, she has headed an ambitious strategy that Europe must display digital leadership and show how technology can create growth, which ensures that companies as well as private citizens can benefit from and influence a more sustainable digital future.
