Three small hills

Three Small Hills is a flexible piece of outdoor furniture developed for Kajakklubben Strømmen in Middelfart. The design creates a gathering place for community, relaxation, and activities across generations. Through a co-design process with the club’s children and young people, the furniture has been shaped according to the users’ needs and wishes. The construction is made of larch boards, referencing shelter building, the simplicity of outdoor life, and maritime material connections. The geometric forms are given an organic twist in the details, inviting play, rest, and encounters close to the sea and nature.
