Background
Statues freeze history in time, marking significant moments for generations to come. However, whatever they represent has to be something really important to be eternalised into bronze or stone. Are there other stories, maybe not as heroic that deserve a place in public space too?
This project aims to give the lesser-known tales of the past a temporary stage. By interacting with the statues, you bring the stories from the city archive of Kolding to life.
Bring the stories to life
Walk in the footsteps to inflate the temporary statue, switch on the lights to read the text and bring the story of the three bakers that walked to Sweden to life.
