Prototype for firefighter helmet light

BA course: ‘PROFESSIONAL’ – Prototype for firefighter helmet light, Industrial Design – Bachelor, 2nd Year
Background

During this course, students work closely with professionals from an industry partner. Through anthropological and participatory design methods, they identify real-world challenges and develop solutions tailored to a professional context.

Emil Kruse and Karl-Alder Kuivjõgi have created a prototype for a light for a firefighter helmet. The light is adjustable, compatible with existing helmets, heat-resistant, and designed to meet a range of needs for light direction and intensity.
