Design School Kolding has many more qualified applicants than we can offer admission. apply several times before they are admitted – there are no limits to how many times you can apply.

If we offer you a spot in the programme, we will inform you about your admission via email on 26 July. If you want to accept the spot, you have to let us know by 2 August 2024. If you do not accept the spot will be offered to another applicant. You will receive information about how to proceed via email.

On Monday, August 19th, and Wednesday, August 21st, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, you have the opportunity to call Prorector Lone Dalsgaard at +45 20 29 07 89 for general feedback on the admissions process, for those who have not been accepted.gmal

Stand by admission

If you are offered standby admission you will receive an email from us on 26 July.

With standby admission you are on a waiting list and may be offered a spot between 3 and 7 August 2024. If your standby-admission is converted into an offer for a spot in the programme, your deadline for accepting this offer is 8 August 2024 at 12 noon CET.

If you are not offered a spot in 2024, you are guaranteed a place in 2025 - provided you apply for admission again in 2025. You will receive information about how to proceed in the email you will receive.

Transfer of merit

If you have previously been admitted to a Bachelor's degree programme you are obliged to apply for merit for the programme elements you have already passed. That applies to programmes inside and outside Denmark.

During the month of August we will decide whether to grant you merit. If any documentation from you is missing, we will contact you. You will receive a reply around the semester start.

Semester start

Once you have accepted your spot, we will send you an email with information regarding the semester start.
