Spot

Kolding School of Design has many more qualified applicants than we can offer admission. Apply several times before they are admitted – there are no limits to how many times you can apply.

If we offer you a spot in the programme, we will inform you about your admission via email on 28 July 2027. If you want to accept the spot, you have to let us know by 3 August 2027. If you do not accept the spot will be offered to another applicant. You will receive information about how to proceed via email.

Applicants who have not been offered a place will have the opportunity to receive general feedback on the admission process by calling Lone Dalsgaard on +45 20 29 07 89 on the following days:

Industrial Design and Accessories: Monday, 16 August 2027, 9:00 am–3:00 pm
Communication Design: Tuesday, 17 August 2027, 9:00 am–3:00 pm
Fashion Design: Wednesday, 18 August 2027, 9:00 am–3:00 pm
Textile Design: Thursday, 19 August 2027, 9:00 am–3:00 pm

Step 6. Offer of admission

Stand by admission

If you are offered standby admission you will receive an email from us on 28 July.

With standby admission you are on a waiting list and may be offered a spot by 20 August, 2027.

If you are not offered a spot in 2027, you are guaranteed a place in 2028 - provided you apply for admission again in 2028. You will receive information about how to proceed in the email you will receive.

Step 6. Offer of admission

Transfer of merit

If you have previously been admitted to a Bachelor's degree programme you are obliged to apply for merit for the programme elements you have already passed. That applies to programmes inside and outside Denmark.

During the month of August we will decide whether to grant you merit. If any documentation from you is missing, we will contact you. You will receive a reply around the semester start.

Once you have accepted your spot, we will send you an email with information regarding the semester start.
