Under the theme of Hope and Innovation, BO BEDRE, Bolig Magasinet and Scandinavian Living held the Design Awards this week for the 9th time and paid tribute to the best in Danish design.

Among the prize categories was the Talent Award, which is given to selected new talents on the Danish design scene. And among this year's three recipients is Alexander Hinnerskov, cand.des. from the Kolding School of Design.

Alexander Hinnerskov won the award for his modular and flexible storage furniture Tansu Shelving System, which can be expanded as needed and packed away when moving. If the furniture is to be disposed of, it can be returned and made into new furniture in recycled plastic. Alexander Hinnerskov designed the furniture when he graduated in 2022 as an industrial designer specializing in sustainability. The storage furniture has previously been exhibited in connection with 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen.

The editors of the respective media and a panel of judges selected the winners, who were celebrated during a dinner in the beautiful surroundings of the Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen on 7 November.

Congratulations to Alexander Hinnerskov and the other nominees and winners.
