Universal design is a design principle that seeks to create solutions that are usable and accessible to everyone, regardless of individual abilities or circumstances

Our built and designed environments are often created for a standardised, fully able-bodied. With this call, the Bevica Foundation aims to promote research that explores, develops, and rethinks universal design across disciplines - both theoretically, practice-based, and innovation-driven.

Who can apply?

  • Applicants from all relevant academic disciplines
  • A Master’s degree (or equivalent) by the application deadline

It’s possible to apply under all PhD models (5+3, 4+4, 3+5).

Kolding School of Design encourages all interested parties—students, researchers, and collaborators—to consider applying.
