The Kolding Culture Festival, which took place on 22 August, is part of the Triangle Region Festival. The theme of the festival is “Connections” and therefore the Mayor decided to create an orange triangle with a budding centre to symbolise the link between the cities of Vejle, Fredericia and Kolding, also referred to as the Triangle Region.

A rug that connects people
The Tube attracted a great deal of visitors and many of them gladly accepted the invitation to contribute to the colourful rug that will be donated to the Triangle Region after the festival.

The concept is created by Designer Rosa Tolnov Clausen.

The rug will be on display along with the additional pieces that make up The Tube in Kolding until Wednesday 27 August.

From 29 August until 6 September, The Tube will be exhibited at the Aarhus Festival.

About The Tube
The Tube consists of seven specially designed containers each containing a new product, an installation or an experience which holds an artistic dimension and a commercial potential.

The Tube is a collaboration between young designers from Design School Kolding and leading Danish companies.

The exhibition is funded by Kolding Municipality, Danish Design and Architecture Initiative, The Ministry for Higher Education and Science, Innovationsnetværket, Kvist Industries, Oticon Fonden, Toyota Fonden, Augustinus Fonden and the Triangle Region Festival.
