- I got some great feedback about my project and they seemed very interested, says fashion designer Bjarke Bisgaard Rasmussen.

Bjarke designed a menswear collection that takes its cue from modernity and monastic order. At Match Making, he met with a Bestseller/”Selected Homme” designer, who was interested in knowing the thoughts behind the project, and whether Bjarke could see himself working for a brand like ”Selected Homme”.

Standing face to face with the world of private enterprise can be a daunting prospect for a fresh-out-of-school designer. Consequently, it was an advantage for Bjarke to meet with a business.

- It was great practice, presenting my stuff to someone in the industry. They don’t know you in advance, and it gives you a great idea of what you need to emphasise when you advertise your product.

In total, 35 businesses took part in the matchmaking event.
