Design School Kolding’s rector lands a new post

Lene Tanggaard has been appointed new member of Denmark's Research and Innovation Policy Council

- I am very honored to be appointed as a new member, and I am very much looking forward to taking on the role, says Lene Tanggaard.

Denmark's Research and Innovation Policy Council was established on 1 April 2014 and consists of a chairman and eight members, who are all appointed by the Minister of Education and Research in their personal capacity and thus do not represent political, institutional, or financial interests.

In addition to Lene Tanggaard, five new members have been appointed, three current members of the council have been reappointed for a period of three years. The new members of Denmark's Research and Innovation Policy Council (DFiR) will begin work on 1 April 2023.

Denmark's Research and Innovation Policy Council provides the Minister of Education and Research, the Parliament and other ministers with independent and expert advice on research, technology development and innovation. The council is thus helping to promote the development of Danish research, technology development and innovation for the benefit of society.

The council consists of a chairman and eight members, all of whom are appointed by the Minister of Education and Research in their personal capacity and following an open advertisement. The composition of the council as of 1 April 2023 is:
