
PhD defence on co-cultivating colours
Monica Hartvigsen will be defending her PhD project Co-Cultivating Colours - An experimental driven textile design approach to understand microbial colourants for textile design in craft, education and industry.
The PhD project studies the design potential of ‘co-crafting’ with colour producing microorganisms as a conscious way to apply colour to textile surfaces.
