Three Open House events in 2026
Choosing a degree programme is a big step – especially if you want to work creatively and have space to develop your own ideas. At Kolding School of Design, students enter an environment where original and personal ideas are nurtured, while also building strong professional skills. Through exciting projects and collaborations with industry, students work on real-world challenges and have the opportunity to test their creative solutions in practice.
The programmes combines artistic boldness, craftsmanship, and professional insight – giving students the tools to create design that truly makes a difference.
In 2026, we invite all curious minds to three open house events, where you can experience the study environment up close. Prospective applicants can meet teachers and students, explore projects, and gain a genuine insight into what it means to study design at Kolding School of Design.
Open House on Campus Kolding – Saturday 31 January, 12pm - 3pm CET
On this day, you can explore the entire Campus Kolding as we join the city’s other higher education institutions in welcoming visitors.
Expect a day filled with creative energy: all studios and floors will be open, offering a glimpse of our study spaces, ongoing projects and everyday life as a design student.
Open House – Thursday 5 February, 11am - 4pm CET
This event features a full programme of talks, activities and opportunities to dive into both our Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes.
- Talks on Bachelor’s specialisations: Accessory Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design and Communication Design.
- Talks on Master’s specialisations:Design for People, Design for Planet, Design for Play.
You’ll have the chance to meet students, see current exhibitions and experience our facilities and studios.
Our Study Administration team will be available to guide you through the admissions process, deadlines and entry requirements – and you can browse portfolios and speak with current students about their path into the programme.

Online Open House for Master’s applicants – Wednesday 14 January 2026, 1pm - 5pm (CET)
For international and prospective Master’s students, we are hosting an online Open House on Microsoft Teams. This event allows participants from around the world to get to know us – without travelling. The session is held in English and gives you the opportunity to:
- explore our Master’s programme
- meet faculty and students live
- ask questions about student life and admissions
Everyone interested in our Master’s programme in design is welcome – both within and outside the EU.
