The Nature of Weaving

My bachelor project “The Nature of Weaving” explores how stones and geological narratives can be communicated through weaving. Through arm weaving, vertical loom weaving, and digital weaving, the colours, textures, and traces of time found in stones are translated into textile experiments. Rooted in a fascination with geology and weaving, the project seeks to create new connections between nature, craft, and people while inspiring curiosity about the stories and sensory qualities of materials.
