Hospitalclown playing dressup

This project explores how embodied and playful approaches can support the interaction between hospital clowns and children. The work is based on the Klovnbulance project, in which four hospital clowns take on the role of drivers and bring children aged 3–14 on a bus ride.

Through workshops and interviews, the project investigates how collaborators can be actively involved in the design process through material-based workshops and the exchange of ideas. The outcome is a design proposal for four driver garments that support the driver's role as a playful facilitator.
