Background
With hats based on upcycling polyester and mending techniques, Anna Schroll Feldmeier demonstrates how one of the fashion industry’s major problems, deadstock, can become a source of value for the Danish fashion firm Henrik Vibskov.
From deadstock textiles to value-creating products
The theme of the collection is change, based on the textile collection’s transformation through the techniques used to create the resulting products. The designer highlights transparency in hangtags showing the journey from deadstock textile to end-product. Some of the hats are available from Henrik Vibskov’s shop in Copenhagen.
