Kolding is a design town for a design practice that is often invisible. So how to give local citizens an understanding of the aspect of design that is not manifested physically; how to focus on something that is not visible?

As part of a comprehensive design process Mia Friis has created the interactive installation ‘Speculo’ using materials sponsored by the plastics manufacturer Vink Plast. Two mirrors meet at a 90-degree angle, revealing a perspective that is normally hidden to us, although it exists – just like ‘invisible design’.
