Den Giftige Have
This book is the result of a close anthropological collaboration with people living with mental health challenges.
Through poetic and visual explorations, we delve into the emotional landscapes of being mentally unwell. Our research reveals that mental illness remains a taboo in Denmark, often leaving individuals feeling stigmatized—both by society and by themselves.
With this project, we seek to reduce that sense of isolation. By sharing impactful, empathetic stories, we aim to contribute to the destigmatization of mental health struggles.
