"My vision is to contribute to solutions for global challenges. For me, design is only meaningful if it serves a purpose, makes a difference for others, or has a poetic quality." - Simone Kirk Aarup
"As a designer, I feel a responsibility to consider our impact on the planet, and therefore, I have a particular interest in working with sustainability in a way that inspires innovative design solutions." - Julie Skerning
Two-wheeled cargo bikes are more agile
Two-wheeled cargo bikes are more agile, take up less space on the bike lane, and are easier to maneuver than three-wheeled cargo bikes. However, many people choose not to ride the two-wheeled option out of fear of not being able to balance it. By adding the stabilizing Flex wheelsthat can be turned on and off as needed, the designers have made the bike more accessible for both new to two-wheeled bikes and those who need to balance heavy loads in the cargo area. The modular design appeals to a wider audience because it can be customized to accommodate changing needs, thus extending the lifespan of the cargo bike for each individual user.
