Design thinking, social responsibility and greater visibility

Carina Christensen has been appointed as the new Rector of Kolding School of Design. She takes on the role with a strong belief that design can and should play a key part in addressing society’s major challenges – from the climate crisis to rapid technological change and social transformation. Her top priority will be to raise the school’s profile and highlight the remarkable talent within the school.

Inauguration reception for Rector Carina Christensen

From October, the new Rector of Kolding School of Design will be Carina Christensen. We will celebrate this with a reception on Wednesday, October 8 – everyone is welcome to join.

If Gentofte were a chair

What would Gentofte look like if it were a chair? That is the question posed by Kolding School and Design and Bellevue Theatre – and the answer has materialised in the Gentofte Chair, an artistic collaboration created for the dance performance STOL – a matter of trust, which has just premiered at Bellevue Theatre and will travel on to Aarhus Festival on 3 September.
