"FLUX is a feeling, just as much as it is a stage and an active movement. FLUX is what flows through the school’s spaces every day, through the students’ hands and out into the wider world." This is how Mau Højer Lassen describes the visual identity for this year’s graduation exhibition, developed as part of her bachelor’s project in Communication Design.

Design that moves with the world

What happens when the next generation of designers responds to a world in constant change? Experience it at FLUX — the 2026 Graduation Exhibition at Kolding School of Design. From 27 June to 2 July, visitors are invited into six days of bold ideas, design experiments, and new perspectives on materials, technology, sustainability, and the future of everyday life.

This year’s title, FLUX, points to movement, transformation, and the processes that drive design forward. The exhibition brings together bachelor’s and master’s projects from the school’s graduates, showcasing how the next generation of designers engages with everything from materials, technology, and sustainability to communities, wellbeing, and everyday life.

- FLUX is a feeling, just as much as it is a stage and an active movement. FLUX is what flows through the school’s spaces every day, through the students’ hands and out into the wider world.

This is how Mau Højer Lassen describes the visual identity for this year’s graduation exhibition, developed as part of her bachelor’s project in Communication Design.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors can explore prototypes, installations, and investigative design processes where ideas are tested, challenged, and transformed into concrete proposals for the future. The projects span a wide range of themes, but they all share a common ambition: to create meaningful design — design that responds both to the challenges of our time and to the people who will live with the solutions.

The graduation exhibition is also an opportunity to meet the designers who, in the years ahead, will help shape the future of design, business, and society.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome — whether you are interested in design, a collaborator, a company representative, or simply a curious visitor.

No one creates the future alone. Through their graduation projects and throughout their education, our students collaborate with both private and public organisations, as well as people within and beyond the design field, to create solutions that make a real difference and address concrete challenges. Thank you to everyone who contributes with insights, dialogue, and resources. A special thank you to EWII and the Municipality of Kolding for generously supporting this year's Graduation Exhibition.
