New fashion design talents at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Thirteen newly graduated fashion designers from Kolding School of Design took to the runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week, presenting their graduate collections in the show At the Intersection at Pakhus 11.

For the graduates, the show marked the culmination of years of creative and professional development – and the beginning of the next chapter in their careers. In front of an audience of industry professionals, media and fashion enthusiasts, they showcased collections ranging from material experimentation and exceptional craftsmanship to critical explorations of fashion as a cultural and societal practice.

At the Intersection explored the meeting point between different perspectives, stories and design approaches. Each designer presented a personal vision and a distinctive creative language, while together the collections formed a compelling narrative about a new generation of fashion designers unafraid to challenge conventions and explore what fashion can be.

Humour, speculative thinking and critical reflection were woven together with craftsmanship, construction and material exploration. The result was a graduation show in which fashion became more than clothing – it became a medium for dialogue, reflection and new ways of seeing the world.

A significant milestone
Presenting a graduate collection during Copenhagen Fashion Week gives the newly qualified designers the opportunity to engage with the fashion industry in a professional setting and share their work with an international audience.

The runway show also reflects Kolding School of Design's ambition to educate designers with strong professional skills, an experimental mindset and the confidence to shape the future of fashion.
