SNIK – support, presence, insight, clarity
Background
A conversation tool for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Region of Southern Denmark
SNIK – support, presence, insight, clarity
SNIK is a interactive conversation tool designed to support nurses in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry during conversations with children aged 6–13. The tool was developed because many children find it difficult to express their experiences in traditional conversations. By using SNIK, nurses can more easily understand the child’s perspective while documenting the conversation in a more structured way. The goal is to strengthen both professional quality and the relationship – so the child feels seen, heard, and safely involved in their treatment.
