Of the Same Ground

Of the Same Ground facilitates ongoing interdependent community support and conversation surrounding the evolving function of Danish cemeteries through an interactive common space. The final design allows attendees to spend time reflecting, sharing, and maintaining a sense of local support through written words and spoken conversations. The experience is a bridge for living and dead communities, transitioning churchyards into something that blurs physical and spiritual, matter and mind, past and present, and personal and communal.
