Conversations in Design: Communicating Sustainability through Furniture

This project examines how the furniture industry can effectively communicate sustainability to consumers. By analyzing the practices of Sungai Design in Bali, Indonesia, and Daarbak Design in Vejle, Denmark, the research investigates the role of design, branding, and storytelling in conveying sustainable values. The goal is to develop a 'conversation piece' that not only showcases sustainable materials but also invites dialogue, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainability in design.
