Below the Surface

This project explores the role of industrial design as a nonverbal communication tool with the goal of engaging citizens in environmental issues. The research process combines desk research, fieldwork, participatory design activities, expert interviews, and comparative case studies across different countries. The end result is an installation divided into three different stations along Tirsbæk Strand. The purpose of this installation is to show the environmental state of Vejle Fjord through the senses instead of through written language.
