Waiting Shaping – Shaping Waiting

In the space between departure and arrival, waiting emerges — a pause amidst change. My bachelor's project is an interactive piece of furniture / sculpture designed for the waiting room.Shaped in steel and inspired by the body’s passive resting positions, the sculpture invites those waiting to play, shape, and leave traces of time. Movable blocks mounted on the piece allow its form to be continuously manipulated.

Over time, the furniture becomes a physical story of the many travelers who briefly cross paths. The blocks will deform through use — shaped by the users themselves.
