Background
In 2018 the then Danish government launched several housing policy initiatives aimed at counteracting the development of parallel societies and eliminating them entirely in Denmark by 2030. Skovparken and Skovvejen are a housing estate in Kolding that is currently, due to these initiatives, undergoing comprehensive transformation.
Community builders
In connection with this process, Anne Hofmann Andersen has worked with the housing association AAB Kolding at Bovia and residents of Skovparken and Skovvejen to design strategies for preserving a sense of security and cohesion among the residents through social communities during the transformation of Skovparken and Skovvejen.
